    Tryon will be celebrating its 125th birthday with exciting events on Labor Day weekend. On Friday, September 3, 2010, there will be a kick-off party. On Saturday, September 4, there will be carriage rides in historic neighborhoods, a parade, children’s activities at Tryon Fine Arts Center, guided Tryon Cemetery tours, old movies at the Tryon Theatre, music, food, crafts and more. Tryon Toy House Museum will be having its grand opening on Sunday, September 5. Check out the scheduled events at http://tryonevents.org/events/.
